Answers to the questions we get most — and how to reach a human.

How do I play?
The numbers beside each row and column tell you how long the runs of filled cells are, in order, with at least one empty cell between runs. Tap or drag to fill; switch to Cross to mark cells you know are empty. When every clue is satisfied, the hidden pixel picture is revealed. In-app, tap the ? button on the Home screen for a full walkthrough with examples.
I bought a pack but it isn’t unlocked.
Open Settings → Purchases → Restore Purchases and make sure you’re signed in to the same Apple ID you bought with. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID and work fully offline — restoration can even happen in airplane mode. If it still fails, email us with your App Store receipt and we’ll sort it out.
Does my progress sync between devices?
Not currently. Progress is stored on-device, which is what makes the app fully offline and private. Purchases do follow your Apple ID, so unlocked packs appear on any device you own once you restore them.
Where do the Daily Challenge puzzles come from?
They’re generated on your device from today’s date — everyone gets the same grid, but no network is involved. Weekdays are a calm 10×10; weekends step up to 15×15.
Can I get stuck?
Never. Every puzzle — handcrafted or generated — is verified to have exactly one solution reachable by pure logic, so you never have to guess. Each puzzle also ships with 3 hints that reveal one correct cell, and Undo steps back through your last moves.
How do I change the language?
Nonogram follows your device language automatically and supports English, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese. Change it in iOS Settings → General → Language & Region.
The app crashes / behaves oddly.
First, try the latest version from the App Store. If problems persist, email us with your device model, iOS version, and what happened — screenshots welcome, puzzles optional.

Still need help?

We read every message. Write to us and we’ll reply — usually within a couple of days (puzzle-solving takes priority).
